Doritos Launches New ‘Muchies’-Like Bag of Taco Chips

Doritos seceded from its “Munchies” friends and decided to form its own mixed bag of cheesy goodness.

Essentially the same concept as Munchies, Doritos’ Mix Cheese Explosion and Taco Explosion will feature four different flavors and shapes in each bag.

The Cheese Explosion will have its standard triangle nacho cheese chip, a rolled up Jumpin’ Jack Cheese chip, a pyramid-like spicy nacho, and a twisted four cheese flavor.

The Taco Explosion will have a triangle Spicy Nacho chip, a rolled up taco, salsa pyramid and a twisty sour cream flavor.

We tried them in the office and like the Munchies, the flavors just blend together in the cheese bag. The Taco Explosion does have its own decipherable tastes, though.

The chips are now available nationwide in 3-ounce and 9.5-ounce bags, for $1.49 and $4.29, respectively.
