Disneyland’s Tiana’s Palace Menu Is Here And We Need It All

Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 7, because Tiana’s Palace will officially open inside the Disneyland Resort and you won’t want to miss out on the southern-style dishes that are on the menu.

ICYMI, this new restaurant at Disneyland was actually inspired by the 2009 animated movie, “The Princess and the Frog.” The entire menu was created in spirit of what Princess Tiana would have ideally served at the restaurant she always wanted to open in the movie.

Pulling from all the southern roots, the menu is filled with entrees like Gumbo, Cajun Spice Chicken, Mac & Cheese and even a very large Beignet.

Conveniently located on Orleans Street, here’s what we know you have to save your appetite for:

  • 7 Greens Gumbo with Chicken & Andouille Sausage
  • House Gumbo
  • Cajun Spice Half Chicken
  • Muffuletta Sandwich
  • Beef Po-boy Sandwich
  • Buttermilk Cornbread
  • Baked Macaroni and Cheese
  • Red Beans and Heirloom Rice
  • Plant-based Heirloom Rice
  • Coleslaw
  • Cheesy Grits
  • House-filled Beignets
  • Joffrey’s Coffee Chicory Cold Brew

Okay Disney, we see you, that’s a lot of food so here’s what we think are really worth trying:

For the Vegetarian: The 7 Greens Gumbo is actually a plant-based option featuring white beans, okra, yams, sweet potatoes, and heirloom rice.

For the BBQ Fan: You like chicken but also spice. The Cajun Spice Half Chicken is the dish for you. This juicy chicken is brushed with a house-made chicory BBQ sauce and served with baked macaroni and cheese & coleslaw. An elevated southern taste for sure!

For Seafood Lovers: Shrimp and grits are calling your name. Tiana’s menu also features the Gulf Shrimp and Grits. Grilled and tossed in a Creole sauce, the shrimp are then paired with cheesy grits to form a classic southern dish.

And we can’t forget to save a little room for dessert and clearly the winner of the menu: the House-filled Beignet features a lemon pie filling topped with lemon glaze for the most tasty treat.
