A Strawberry Jam-Filled Sausage Now Exists

You’ve probably seen jalapeno-stuffed sausages, or maybe even cheese-stuffed sausage, but we’re willing to bet you’ve never seen a jelly-filled sausage.

According to the Mirror, this mix of sweet and savory pork is the doing of Liam Bennett and he calls it the Dausage.

Obviously inspired by the cronut, as most food mashups are these days, it took Bennett 12 months of trial and error to get the Dausage rolling.

The original Dausage flavors came in strawberry jam and cumberland with raspberry flavors. They later expanded to pork and beef with custard, venison with strawberry custard and a vegetarian dausage filed with Primula cheese.

Apparently Bennett loves the “D” as he plans to expand to a Dorizo, Dalami, Dipolatas, Dankfurters and Black Dudding.

I’ll leave the endless sexual innuendos to you guys.
