Cinemark Just Revealed A Spider-Man Cup Unlike Any We’ve Seen Before
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth installment in the Marvel franchise, swings into theaters on July 31. To celebrate, Cinemark is rolling out a lineup of Spidey collectibles, including a drink cup shaped like Spider-Man’s hand firing a web.
The design cleverly turns the straw into Spidey’s web line, while the web itself flares outward into a funnel-shaped cup that holds your drink.
If you’ve been following rumors surrounding the upcoming film, you’ve probably heard speculation that Spider-Man may switch to organic web shooters. Interestingly, the collectible still features the Stark Industries web shooters from the previous films, leaving fans to wonder whether the rumors hold any weight or if the marketing team is simply keeping a major reveal under wraps.
Cinemark’s collection also includes a comic panel-inspired blanket, a 32-ounce bottle, a popcorn bucket with Spider-Man hanging upside down from the lid, and another bucket featuring a collage of artwork from the film.
Meanwhile, Regal Cinemas is debuting its own lineup of collectibles, including a popcorn bucket modeled after a New York City brick apartment building complete with fire escapes, windows, and Spider-Man clinging to the exterior.
Tickets for Spider-Man: Brand New Day and the collectible merchandise are available now at participating theaters nationwide.
