Chipotle Answers Fans’ Calls To Bring Back Chicken Al Pastor

Since it disappeared from menus back in August of 2023, there’s been a deluge of requests from fans on social media pleading for the return of Chipotle’s Chicken al Pastor. Fans have not stopped posting for months. The best part? The wait is over!

Yup, Chipotle is making fans’ dreams come true by bringing back Chicken al Pastor to restaurants worldwide for a limited time. When it first debuted in March 2023, it quickly captured hearts and taste buds, solidifying its status as a fan favorite. Crafted fresh daily in small batches, Chicken al Pastor features fresh chicken hot off the grill, marinated in a flavorful blend of seared morita peppers and ground achiote, and balanced with a hint of pineapple for just the right amount of heat, and finished with fresh lime and hand-chopped cilantro for a burst of freshness.

It’s no wonder that its return is fueled by popular demand, as Chicken al Pastor adds that bold flavor boost to any Chipotle order, taking it to a next level of deliciousness. Foodbeast Elie enthusiastically demonstrates this, as he took passionate fan build recommendations from posts and let it do what it do.

The bite straight through the middle of that burrito is wild work, but that 10/10 co-sign from Elie has me convinced it’s the right move.
