Jollibee Goes All In On Filipino Culture For Its New DreamWorks Collab
Jollibee is teaming up with DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming film Forgotten Island for a collaboration that goes considerably deeper than throwing movie characters on a Chickenjoy box.
Starting September 14, Jollibee locations across North America will roll out limited-time Forgotten Island meal bundles, collectible bracelet charms, new calamansi drinks, retro streetwear and several other activations ahead of the film’s September 25 theatrical release.
The partnership feels especially fitting considering the Filipino talent behind Forgotten Island, which includes H.E.R., Liza Soberano, Lea Salonga, Jo Koy and co-writer/co-director Januel Mercado. For Jollibee, a Filipino-born brand that has spent years expanding across North America, the collab gives the chain a chance to celebrate that connection through both food and design.

The centerpiece is a trio of Forgotten Island meal bundles built around familiar Jollibee favorites. The two-piece Chickenjoy Box Meal comes with steamed rice, gravy, Peach Mango Pie and Calamansi Lemonade, while the Chicken Sandwich Box Meal pairs an original or spicy Chicken Sandwich with fries, Peach Mango Pie and Calamansi Lemonade. A six-piece Chickenjoy Bucket Bundle rounds out the lineup for groups.
Each meal also comes with collectible extras. Box Meals include one mystery bracelet charm and sticker sheet, while the Bucket Bundle comes with three of each. There are eight standard charms featuring Jollibee icons and Forgotten Island characters, plus a rare Golden Bucket charm hiding somewhere in the mix. Customers can also add a blank chain bracelet for $2 with a qualifying meal purchase.
The collaboration is also introducing Calamansi Lemonade, made with the tangy Filipino citrus fruit, along with a frozen Calamansi Lemonade Freeze at select locations.

Outside the food, Jollibee and Forgotten Island are leaning into the film’s ’90s aesthetic with a retro streetwear collection featuring a T-shirt, hoodie and windbreaker. The T-shirt depicts Jollibee alongside Jo and Raissa riding in a jeepney, while the windbreaker takes inspiration from Raissa’s look in the film.
Three Jollibee locations—Manhattan’s East 42nd Street, Torrance, California, and Daly City, California—will also get immersive Forgotten Island takeovers inspired by the film’s fictional island of Nakali.
And for anyone looking to take the island theme considerably more literally, Jollibee Rewards members can enter a sweepstakes beginning September 14 for a chance to win travel prizes, including a grand-prize trip for two to the Philippines with a stop in Palawan.
The Jollibee x Forgotten Island collaboration runs through October 31, or while supplies last.
