A manager of a Pensylvania Chick-fil-A was arrested last Friday after he unsucessfully tried to rob his own restaurant. The Reporter reports, the manager and another employee attempted to steal nearly $3,000 from the quick-service chicken chain.

Authorities arrived at the Montgomery County location at 1:30am after a call was made claiming two thieves beat up the manager Joseph Scott Kallatch and made him open the restaurant’s safe before cheesing it. Upon furthur questioning, Kallatch broke and admitted that he faked the robbery with another employee Michael Frederick Berstecher.
