There are food collaborations that need an entire press release to explain themselves. Then there’s Cheez-It and Coors Light putting beer cheese into a cracker.

This August, Cheez-It is teaming up with Coors Light to launch limited-edition Cheez-It Coors Light Beer Cheese flavored crackers, bringing the flavor of a classic beer cheese spread to the snack aisle for $4.99 per box.

Beyond being the kind of pairing that feels suspiciously overdue, the release marks the first beer brand collaboration in Cheez-It’s history. Somehow, after more than a century of Cheez-It occupying pantries, vending machines, and the snack tables of America, Coors Light gets to be the beer that breaks the seal.

The collaboration takes its inspiration from classic beer cheese, packing its familiar savory and tangy flavor along with toasted spices into Cheez-It’s signature crunchy squares. Each cracker is baked with 100% real cheese, with the flavor designed to bring some of Coors Light’s crisp notes into the mix.

Essentially, two things that already felt destined to share space at a tailgate have finally figured out how to occupy the same bite.

The partnership also gives Cheez-It another entry into the increasingly crowded world of splashy snack collaborations, except this one has the benefit of making immediate sense. Beer and cheese have spent enough time together that turning the pairing into a cracker feels less like flavor mad science and more like somebody finally getting around to the obvious.

Cheez-It Coors Light Beer Cheese flavored crackers will hit retailers nationwide beginning in August 2026 for a suggested retail price of $4.99 per box. They’ll only stick around for a limited time while supplies last.
