Burger King is Testing New Whopper Melt Sandwiches In This City

Whopper Melt

Unless you’ve had your fill of dad jokes and bad stand up comedy, there’s really nothing wrong with things being extra cheesy. Burger King echoes such sentiments with some new innovation coming from its test kitchen in the form of the Whopper Melt.

The burger chain is testing the new Whopper Melt at select Burger King locations in Toledo, Ohio, and will come in three kinds. Here’s all the melty deets:

  • Whopper Melt: It features two slices of toast, layered with 2 Whopper Jr. Patties for ¼. lb of flame-grilled beef, melty American cheese, caramelized onions and Stacker Sauce.
  • Spicy Whopper Melt:  This version features two slices of toast, layered with 2 Whopper Jr. Patties for ¼. lb of flame-grilled beef, melty American cheese, jalapenos, caramelized onions and a creamy spicy sauce.
  • Bacon Whopper Melt: Specifically for bacon lovers, this Melt features two slices of toast, layered with 2 Whopper Jr. Patties for ¼. lb of flame-grilled beef, melty American cheese, crispy bacon, caramelized onions and Stacker Sauce.

The recommended starting price is $3.99 for the new Whopper Melts and availability of the test is for a limited time only.
