One of Burger King's most popular items has been their Cheesy Tots. With our love of tater tots and all things cheesy, it's no surprise they're a crowd favorite. Now, thanks to popular demand, the cheesy spuds are back on the menu for a short time.

Burger King's Cheesy Tots were once a mainstay on the menu, but got discontinued back in 2009. Limited-time releases have since occurred in 2013, late 2016, and now 2017. Like each of the past two returns, the tots came back as a result of social media demand begging for the item.

Unlike the last couple of times, however, the Cheesy Tots are now available for breakfast as well. Thus, they should be a pretty nifty upgrade to the hash browns that normally grace BK's breakfast spread.

Hopefully, with all of the hype surrounding this release of the tots, Burger King will give us what we really want: a permanent return of the Cheesy Tots to their menu.
