AriZona Beverages Debuts New Chocolate Egg Cream Soda Flavor

After doubling down on his commitment to keeping AriZona 22-ounce cans at 99 cents, owner Don Vultaggio has announced a new flavor: Chocolate Egg Cream Soda. The flavor was inspired by a drink commonly found at Brooklyn soda fountains and diners back in the day, and uses swirled milk instead of eggs and cream.

AriZona, founded in New York, has partnered with Tunnel to Towers, an organization that honors New York firefighter Stephen Siller, who lost his life on September 11, 2001. For each can sold, $1.11 will be donated to help Tunnel to Towers provide mortgage-free homes for the families of fallen first responders, Gold Star families, and veterans.

“We’re honored to partner with AriZona on this special Chocolate Egg Cream Soda, which pays tribute to a beloved Brooklyn tradition that my brother Stephen would have appreciated. As a member of FDNY Squad 1 in Brooklyn, Stephen knew the heart of this community, and this classic soda represents the same spirit of togetherness that drives our mission,” says Frank Siller, chairman and CEO of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Chocolate Egg Cream soda is now available online and at select retailers nationwide. Check out Don Vultaggio’s official announcement here.
