Wendy’s Joins the Fetus-Free Club

After a report that Wendy’s might be a restaurant chain that uses aborted fetuses in its food, a Wendy’s spokesperson came out to deny the report.

You can now dig your teeth into ‘Dave’s Hot and Juicy’ without fear.

Now, if you just did a double take and asked yourself, ‘Wait, who the hell uses aborted fetuses then?’ you’re a perfectly sane reader. The answer is, no one really knows. It is however an interesting subject brought up by Oklahoma Sen. Ralph Shortey, who introduced a bill Jan. 18 that would ban aborted fetuses in food.

If this really is happening in the food industry, it literally takes the term organic baby food to a whole new level.

In an interview with KRMG radio, Shortey said, “There is a potential that there are companies that are using aborted human babies… I don’t know if it is happening in Oklahoma, it may be, it may not be. What I am saying is that if it does happen then we are not going to allow it to manufacture here.”

So basically, he really doesn’t know if it’s happening or not, but if it is, damned if he’s going to let it happen in the great state of Oklahoma.

Shortey pretty much left it at that and wasn’t specific about who, when, why or where this is happening. He has some nerve bringing up an issue that most of us probably never thought about and then basically leaving us with a ‘To be continued,’ like some cheesy season finale.

Enjoy your Baconator.
