This viral Dubai-chocolate trend is officially making its way to Easter baskets this year! So whether you’ve been looking to get your hands on a chocolate bunny this year or even make an upgrade, Lidl US has you covered.

Now, Lidl US is bringing the trend to shelves this Easter season with its Dubai-Style chocolate Easter bunny.

For the uninitiated, Dubai chocolate refers to a chocolate bar filled with pistachio-tahini cream and crispy kadayif (shredded filo pastry), known for its rich, layered texture. Chef Nouel Catis Omamalin and Sarah Hamouda created it in 2021 through Dubai’s Fix Dessert Chocolatier, drawing inspiration from a dessert Hamouda grew up with. Rooted in Middle Eastern flavors, it later gained global attention in 2024 as TikTok creators spotlighted it, sparking a wave of spin-offs worldwide.

Lidl US is presenting their take that’s crafted with milk chocolate, pistachio cream, and kadayif, ensuring the signature crunch fans know and love.

Chocolate bunnies have been an Easter staple for over a century. However, a Dubai-style chocolate bunny is a classic way to celebrate the holiday while simultaneously satisfying the ongoing consumer demand.

Would you swap your classic chocolate bunny for this Dubai-style upgrade?
