In-N-Out Removed ’67’ From Its Order System After Chaos From Viral 6-7 Trend

In-N-Out has apparently had enough of the chaos, because the number 67 has officially been kicked out of its order system.

According to People, the chain quietly retired the number after the viral “6–7” trend turned normal pick-up windows into mini stampedes. Teenagers were camping out near the counter just to hear the number called, then launching into loud, unhinged celebrations like they’d won floor seats to Playboi Carti.

Employees say the number hasn’t been used for about a month. Instead of calling it, the system just skips it, straight from 66 to 68, like 67 never existed.

It’s not often you see a burger chain forced into cultural diplomacy, but here we are. In-N-Out survived TikTok hacks, secret menu myths, and people ordering fries well done well done, but a single number apparently pushed them to their limit.
