Pizza Hut Made A Coffee-Infused Pizza And It’s Only In Brunei
Sad news for us Americans, but Pizza Hut just released one of its wildest creations yet: Coffee Pizza, or as it’s referred to in Brunei, “Kopi-zza.” For those unfamiliar with Brunei, it’s a small nation on the island of Borneo, which is surrounded by Malaysia and the South China Sea. “Kopi” means coffee in Malay, which is the local language.
Pizza Hut brewed up a bold-flavored ‘za that combines its signature cheesy taste with the aromatic richness of coffee. Initially, it was only available for two weeks, but due to popular demand, the availability has been extended.
With the release of Kopi-zza, Brunei solidifies itself as a playground for Pizza Hut flavor innovation. Back in September, the chain released a limited-edition Matcha Cheese Stuffed-Crust Pizza there, which caused quite a stir. Here’s to hoping one of these experimental pies lands in America.
