Chick-fil-A’s New Sidequest Is A Coffee Concept

The year’s most unexpected side-quest award goes to Chick-fil-A, which has just announced a new beverage-focused dining concept called Daybright. The first location will be in Atlanta, launching sometime this year, though when and where hasn’t been disclosed.

Daybright will serve smoothies, cold-pressed juices and specialty coffees, along with a food menu completely distinct from Chick-fil-A’s. Those are the only details so far, but it looks like Daybright may offer a slightly more elevated experience than Chick-fil-A. Based on the menu, it’s giving small-batch coffee roasters.

Chick-fil-A’s excursion into the beverage space reminds of the McDonald’s offshoot “CosMCs,” which was shuttered after just two years. Though it was short-lived, something tells me that Daybright will go over better with Chick-fil-A’s fanbase. In 2024, Taco Bell also launched “Live Màs Cafe.

Chick-fil-A also owns two Little Blue Menu locations—its restaurant concept that offers popular Chick-fil-A menu items alongside other diner-style foods. The difference is that Daybright is a completely separate brand. I’m looking forward to seeing what the chain is brewing up.
