Nike Officially Releasing Sought-After ‘Fruity Pebbles’ Lebron 4 Sneakers

Like any dedicated collector, sneakerheads keep a must-have  list of rare kicks, appropriately termed “holy grails.” These sneakers are often limited-run, friends and family-only, or player-exclusive, like the ‘Fruity Pebbles’ Nike Lebron 4’s, which have just been greenlit for an official release.

Originally debuted on the court in 2006, the ‘Fruity Pebbles’ Nike Lebron 4’s are a colorful homage to the Flintstones-inspired cereal, a favorite of Lebron James. The design sent a shockwave through the sneakerhead community at the time, leading many to believe it would be released to the public. Despite its obvious popularity, the ‘Fruity Pebbles’ Nike Lebron 4’s never saw the light of day. However, it did inspire the ‘Fruity Pebbles’ Lebron 19 Low and Dunk Low.

Things seemingly changed in 2022, when a general release was announced but ultimately postponed several times. Fast forward to now, sneakerheads can exhale a collective sigh of relief as the ‘Fruity Pebbles’ Nike Lebron 4’s are finally slated for Spring 2024 release. No official date has been announced yet, but the sneaker’s new iteration retains much of the original’s flair.
