How To Cook Some Of Your Favorite Dishes From Zelda: Breath Of The Wild [WATCH]

If you’re like me and have been playing Nintendo’s amazing new video game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild nonstop since it came out, you’ve probably spent quite a bit of time cooking dishes for your character, Link, to eat. Ever wonder what some of those dishes, like mushroom risotto and monster cake, would taste like in real life?

Lucky for us, we have YouTube channel Binging with Babish to deliver the answer for us. Host Andrew Rea takes us through three dishes you can make in-game during the above video. These include a wild mushroom risotto, baked apples, and a monster cake that Rea gives a monster-like fruit twist through a particular secret ingredient.

As always, Rea stayed as close to the games as possible, cooking most of the food on cookware over an open flame and even resorting to only using goat butter, the game’s sole source of fat, for the entire video.

It’s a pretty accurate rendition of what these recipes would be like if Link and his adventures were real, and we can’t wait to try these out for ourselves.
