Stacy’s Pita Chips Releases Three Consumer-Created Designs to Support the Women’s Movement

Stacy’s Pita Chips did its part last month to celebrate Women’s History Month in a way that will help thousands of young women across the country for years to come. The PepsiCo company launched a campaign called “Stacy’s Stands With You,” where Stacy’s used limited edition bag designs to celebrate women and donate to a fantastic cause.

“From a Boston food cart to a household name, Stacy’s Pita Chips is what it is today due to the hard work and passion of our founder, successful female entrepreneur Stacy Madison,” said Jennifer Saenz, chief marketing officer, Frito Lay North America. “Celebrating the importance and strength of women is a part of the brand’s DNA. The Stacy’s Stands With You campaign was created to spotlight the voices and rally cries of the women’s movement and create opportunities for teen girls to achieve their full potential.”

In early March of this year, Stacy’s released nine bag designs inspired by the posters and signs from pivotal moments throughout women’s history. The initial 8,000 bags were claimed in less than 24 hours, triggering an $80,000 donation to Step Up, an organization that supports the critical work of mentoring young women and helping them become confident, college-bound and prepared to achieve their full potential in business and in life.

The “Stacy’s Stands With You” campaign also provided consumers the opportunity to submit their own inspirational signs and poster artwork for a chance to have their artwork featured on a second release of limited-edition bags. The three winning designs were announced on March 31, 2017 and are now available to request while supplies last at StacysStandsWithYou.com.

All three designs on these limited-edition bags depict artwork that celebrates the strength of being female and highlights the beauty of equality.

There will only be 2,000 bags available, so make sure to order yours now.
