Fritzi Coop Is LA’s Newest Fried Chicken Paradise

Everybody has their thing when it comes to food. For one it may be pizza. For another, noodles. Me, it’s fried chicken. The undeniable satisfaction I get from the atomic crunch of a crispy bird is a savory saving grace to my taste buds every damn time I’m presented with a bucket, plate, or two piece.

So when offered the opportunity to scope out Fritzi Coop, the latest addition to The Original Farmers Market in Los Angeles, word of its myriad of fried fowl options already had me excited from the jump.

Excitement turned to absolute satisfaction upon sampling the best lineup of fried chicken sandwiches in the whole city. Their signature between the buns offerings come in confit, grilled, buffalo sauced, Nashville hot, and classic fried chicken forms — all of which are tremendous options, with the classic fried sandwich possibly being L.A.’s best.

Beyond sandwiches, their famous “naked” fried chicken and wings options prove to be worthy iterations as well. And for those looking for lighter fare, Fritzi Coop’s chicken is also served up in a number of salad options like kale, classic Caesar, and warm spring chicken.

Lovers of fried chicken should rejoice, as Fritzi Coop is a definitive one-stop shop for your fried chicken cravings. Think of it as a veritable fried chicken paradise, if you will, with plenty top quality options to keep you coming back for more.
