Fancy McDonald’s Requires A Reservation To Try Its Upscale Burger

When you think of McDonald’s, the first word that probably comes to mind is “Upscale.”

No?

Well, McDonald’s in Europe wants to change the negative perception of the fast food chain by attaching notions of class and elegance to it.

McDonald’s Sweden just released a burger called the Maestro Classic, which consists of a beef patty topped with bacon, red onion, lettuce, Cheddar cheese, ketchup and a “Wild Mustard” sauce with mustard seeds.

Not really anything new, or exciting, but that’s on purpose.

It’s being marketed as “Sophisticated, but simple,” according to Burger Business.

Not just anyone will have access to this burger, however, as you have to make a reservation October 2, just to try it.

While reservations for McDonald’s will probably never become the norm, at least it’ll make the chain feel important and pat itself on the back.
