Racial Slur Leads To Violent Brawl, Destroying A Publix Service Deli [WATCH]

It’s not unusual to see an angry customer, or two at a supermarket. The days are hot, sometimes you can’t find what you need, and it’s easiest to take out your anger on the clerk.

Usually things don’t escalate past a verbal altercation, but in a Florida Publix Supermarket, a full on brawl broke out after a couple dudes were seemingly having a bad day.

The incident happened September 16, and witnesses told WFLA that Raleigh Harris, 59, was being “rude” to a Publix deli clerk while trying to order some chicken wings.

While the dispute was taking place, customer Leon Lightbody tried to step in and diffuse the situation, but apparently Harris wasn’t very nice to Lightbody, allegedly even throwing out the n-word, witnesses told WFLA.

Lightbody must not have appreciated Harris’s mouth, because they started throwing blows and they nearly destroyed everything in front of the service deli.

Video was taken in the middle and end of the brawl as Lightbody and other customers can be seen whaling on Harris before he walked out the store.

Lightbody was arrested for simple battery.
