New Sprite Cans Feature 16 Different Lyrics From Nas, Biggie, Rakim and Drake

Sprite has always in tune with hip hop culture, and now they’re paying tribute to some hip hop heavyweights with their new cans.

According to the Verge, Sprite will be releasing limited edition cans that feature lyrics from hip hop legends Nas, Notorious BIG, and Rakim, as well as a modern-day-favorite Drake.

The collection of cans is called “Obey your verse” which is a play on words from their classic “Obey your thirst” slogan.

There will be 16 different cans with 16 different lyrics from the four MC’s. Five of the lyrics will be from Drake, five from Nas, five from Rakim, and for some reason, Biggie only got one lyric.

Nas expressed his joy for this in a statement as he said:

“When I wrote these lyrics, I never imagined my fans would someday have the opportunity to enjoy a can of Sprite and experience my art in a totally original way.”

So if you’re a hip hop head, this might be something you’re interested in collecting.
