Pedestrian Refused Service at McDonald’s Drive-Thru, Steals Car

mc

I can’t be the only one who has walked up to a drive-thru and tried to order something. Hate to kill your dreams, but it doesn’t work. You’ll promptly be rejected and likely laughed at.

A pedestrian learned this at an Oklahoma City McDonald’s Tuesday as he tried walking up and ordering at the drive-thru, and was refused service for not having a vehicle.

As you can imagine, the next logical procedure would be to steal someone’s car, right? Ok, maybe not. But Erick Aguilar did just that. He walked up to a woman’s car at the drive-thru, tossed her out Grand Theft Auto-style, sped off and eventually crashed the car (also GTA-style).

He probably figured he’d take the car, roll through the drive-thru this time and access a savory Big Mac.

That night, a McDonald’s worker said she heard screams, then saw the carjacking on the drive-thru monitor and called police.

Aguilar was caught by police three miles away from the McDonald’s when he wrecked the stolen car. He was arrested on complaints of robbery, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and attempting to elude an officer.

Moral of the story: McDonald’s needs more 24-hour dining rooms to prevent crime.
