Pizza Hut Gets Canadian Drunchies, Offers ‘Cheesy Beef Poutine Pizza’

It’s moments like this that make me miss my home country.

Pizza Hut Canada has unleashed the Cheesy Beef Poutine pizza as a “tribute to the classic Canadian street food favorite.” The new item features a pizza covered in cheese curds and mozzarella melting into fries and shaved steak doused in gravy.

Kudos to Pizza Hut for finally catching on and realizing that Canada’s national drunchie makes the perfect pizza topping. I mean, it’s not like there were any mind-blowing signs or anything.

The Cheesy Beef Poutine pizza is a part of the chain’s limited-time-only lineup “inspired by Canada’s cultural diversity,” and, yes, it’s only offered up North. The four other pies include: Creamy Butter Chicken, Asian BBQ, Grilled Chicken Club and Smokey Maple Bacon with maple bacon strips and bacon crumble. Medium-size pizzas start at $15 and are available only in Canada. Of course. Come on, you’re killing me here guys.
