DQ Starts 2013 With The Upside-Down Chocolate Candy Shop Blizzard

Dairy Queen makes their mark with mind-blowing concoctions such as the Pumpkin Pie, Turtle Brownie with Pecans and Confetti Cake. So, it was inevitable that they would feature one of their most indulgent items to bring in the new year: The Chocolate Candy Shop.

The Chocolate Candy Shop Blizzard comes packed with mini chocolates filled with sweet hazelnut crème, soft fudge and dark cocoa fudge and caramel swirled with DQ’s signature vanilla soft serve.  Barry Westrum, executive vice president of marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ) states that their “Blizzard Treats are so thick they can be served upside-down.” That’s a bold claim, sir.

Starting January, the frosty treat will be available at all Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill restaurants nationwide as the Blizzard of the month. If only snow days could be this good.
