Pepperidge Farm Unveils Goldfish Cracker-Flavored Macaroni & Cheese
A recent Buzzfeed list cited “Mac and Cheese in a cup” as one of the 10 Foods That Became Socially Unacceptable to Eat after College, but something tells me this Goldfish-Flavored Mac & Cheese will be enough to convince you otherwise.
According to Brand Eating, the new mash-up from Pepperidge Farm features Goldfish-shaped noodles in four different flavors: Cheddar, Nacho Cheese, Cheesy Pizza and Butter Parmesan. But that’s not even the best part. No, the best part is that the box looks suspiciously like a pack of regular Goldfish and is therefore bound to stir up those old feelings of untrammeled excitement we felt when we realized that – yes! Mom didn’t pack any nasty carrot sticks! Goldfish crackers FTW!
The Goldfish Macaroni and Cheese will be available exclusively at Wal-Mart stores nationwide starting Monday, June 24. Just remember to grab a bag of crackers to sprinkle on top of your pasta, because you know your five-year-old self knew what was up.
