How To Make Bacon-Wrapped Apple Rings

There’s nothing like taking a healthy snack, deep-frying it and turning it on its head just so it can watch the world burn upside-down.

Amy Erickson of Oh, Bite It just took apple ring slices, wrapped them in bacon and deep fried them as nutritionists around the world collectively shivered.

The ingredients are kept to a minimum as you’ll only need a couple apples, bacon, cinnamon sugar and frying oil.

Erickson sliced up the apples, applied a cool cup trick to remove the seeded center, wrapped the slices in bacon and threw them in the deep fryer. Of course, she sprinkled some cinnamon sugar after they were done frying to give them an extra sweet flavor.
