You Can Now Order Pizza Hut Through Amazon’s Alexa Voice Commands

It seems ordering a pizza is getting easier and easier as technology advances. With a simple tweet, you could easily get a pie sent right to your doorstep and in your mouths within an hour or so. Now, Pizza Hut just announced that Amazon will fill your bellies with pizza like Santa fills his sack with presents on Christmas Eve through the Alexa Voice service.

Alexa is best known as the AI behind Amazon Echo, Amazon Tap, Echo Dot, Amazon Fire TV, and Fire tablets. As cool as ordering through Twitter was, you’d still have to look for your phone and work your fingers to get that pie.

Now, through a partnership with Amazon, Pizza Hut menu items can be ordered through two simple voice commands:

“Alexa, open Pizza Hut.”

and

“Alexa, ask Pizza Hut for a pizza.”

Alexa will probably grab shipping and payment info from your Amazon account so set up should be easier than pulling a hot slice from the cheese-crusted cardboard box.

Menu offerings for the voice command service include: pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza, Veggie Lover’s pizza, Meat Lover’s pizza, Supreme pizza, breadsticks, cinnamon sticks, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mist Twist, and Mountain Dew.

The Pizza Hut skill for Alexa will be available beginning Dec. 15 for delivery and carryout.
