Yogurtland Tricks Kids into Eating Their Veggies with New Looney Tunes Spoons and Flavors – That’s What’s Up

If you had to come up with an antonym for cartoons, “vegetables” would be a pretty safe bet (as would “homework,” “reading” and “the general desire to bathe”). But this summer, Yogurtland’s newest “Tune”-inspired collab sees Bugs, Daffy, Tweety, Taz and other iconic WB characters lending their questionable antics not to teaching kids how to whack each other with mallets, but to tricking them to actually eat their fruits and veggies.

Bugs’ Carrot Cake blends real carrots, spices and cream cheese frosting and is the chain’s first ever flavor with vegetable toppings. Daffy’s Decadent Dark Chocolate Orange features premium cocoa and orange topped with dark chocolate-orange covered cranberries. Tweety has his (I know — his!) own Lemon Cream Cookie, while Taz mucks around with a totally indulgent Devil’s Food Cake.

Naturally, Marvin the Martin’s Kosmic Fruit Kaboom Sorbet is the most insidious of the six, in that it buries enemy spinach beneath a sweet blend of pineapple, lime, banana and Pop Rocks and will probably try to conquer the planet. And the Road Runner’s Cactus Berry Tart combines real cactus pear with blackberries, blueberries and raspberries in a way the Coyote will never, ever be able to understand.

Just like their insanely popular Hello Kitty promotion, moreover, the new Looney Tunes flavors will also come with special character spoons for guests to collect, with the first (Bugs) coming out July 8 and the last (Taz) coming out September 2. How better to start and end your summer than with the very same characters you’ll spend the rest of your time with anyway?

In other news, did anyone else not realize they were called the “Looney Tunes” and not the “Looney Toons”? I clearly am not watching enough TV.
