Whole Foods Sued After Customer Breaks Teeth On Rock-Filled Chicken

Just when everyone got excited about Whole Foods dropping its prices, someone had to come by and bring them down a notch with a lawsuit.

Dr. Alber Liu claims that he broke two teeth after biting into a ready-to-eat chicken from a Las Vegas Whole Foods, according to TMZ. He then filed a lawsuit which claims the chicken had two rocks inside of its gizzard, and if you look at TMZ’s photo above, those are some huge stones.

Liu said that he contacted the Whole Foods after biting into the rocks, and the manager said they should not have sold him the chicken.

Believe it or not, there are forums about chickens eating rocks, and according to a forum on Backyard Chickens, chickens are known for eating rocks, or grit. The rocks are typically broken down, however, which is why we aren’t constantly biting into stones when we eat chicken.

Whole Foods has not yet publicly addressed the lawsuit, but let’s just hope this doesn’t become a trend.
