Wendy’s Is Testing A Plant-Based Spicy Black Bean Burger

Spotted in three test markets of Columbus, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Jacksonville, Florida, Wendy’s is offering a new plant-based option in the form of a Spicy Black Bean Burger.

Like any item on Wendy’s menu, the new Spicy Black Bean Burger can be made to order. The new burger features a signature black bean patty made with a proprietary spice blend, layered with crunchy chipotle jalapeños, melty pepper jack cheese and a spicy chipotle sauce for added kick.

The Spicy Black Bean Burger is available in all three test markets for $5.79.
