Watch Takeru Kobayashi Devour 12 Hot Dogs in 60 Seconds [Video]
Ok. So I watched this while I was eating my lunch. At first, I naively thought that watching a dude go ham on slimy hot dogs dunked in water pitchers IN SLOW MOTION wouldn’t bother me in the slightest. Well, I was kind of wrong.
As I gazed at Takeru Kobayashi on my glowing computer screen, I was both in utter disgust and awe of his superhuman powers. This guy doesn’t eat, he inhales. Judging from the mixed reactions of the audience in the video, I’m guessing that most of them felt the same.
The clip was taken at the Art Fag City Wienerfest and Fundraiser in New York. Kobayashi was given the challenge of consuming 12 hot dogs (bun and all) in 60 seconds. Being the Guinness Record-holder he is, the wiener enthusiast completed the task within the allotted time period and was greeted by an onslaught of camera flashes and gasps.
