Meet The Guy Who Had A Romantic Taco Bell Valentine’s Day Dinner

Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to blow your money on a basic steak dinner that leaves you $200 in the hole, all in hopes that your date is impressed with your ability to make reservations.

Well, Brandon Gravois of New Orleans, Louisiana. was able to not only flex his reservation-making skills, but also show that it you don’t have to break the bank to be thoughtful.

OK, so he kind of blew it and waited until the last minute to try and grab a table EVERYWHERE with no success. That’s when he had to scramble and find a Plan B, which ended up being his girlfriend Corin Jordan’s favorite fast food spot, Taco Bell.

It wasn’t a regular Taco Bell experience, however, as Gravois convinced the local Taco Bell manager to let him reserve a table at their fine establishment.

That’s when Gravois went to work, setting up his table with a fancy table cloth, wine glasses and even silverware for their upcoming taco-filled Valentine’s dinner.

Gravois kept his plans secret, and as you can imagine, his girlfriend Corin was surprised to getting a sit-down restaurant treatment:

“We arrived and were greeted by the Taco Bell crew, turned “wait staff,”‘ Gravois told Foodbeast. “She was all smiles and legitimately surprised when we walked in.”

The restaurant workers would walk by every once in a while, making sure their special guests had their drinks and hearts filled. You know, just like at a regular restaurant.

Gravois got down on a couple f-Layer Burritos and a Shredded Chicken Quesadilla, while his Valentine had  Burrito Supreme and a Doritos Locos Taco. They shared a bottle of Menage à Trois Pinot Noir as they enjoyed a beautiful candlelit Taco Bell Valentine’s Day dinner.

Chew on this, while you you’re looking at your bank account, wondering how your date accumulated a $300 bill.

Gravois created a special, unforgettable moment for himself and his girlfriend, and all it took was a little thought and some burritos.
