UFO-Shaped Burgers Have Landed, Promise A Mess-Free Experience

Back in the mid ’90s, Carl’s Jr. had a catchy slogan: “If it doesn’t get all over the place, it doesn’t belong in your face.” That one-liner took off, making messy burgers all the rage. Fast forward to 2024, and we’ve moved past the ’90s chaos. Now, there’s a new burger that promises a mess-free experience, perfect for on-the-go dining or for anyone who doesn’t want to deal with a 10-napkin meal.

Enter Less Mess Burgers, a food truck in Glendale, California that’s generating some internet buzz for it’s unconventional, UFO-shaped burgers that look to revolutionize how burgers should be. One glance at the Less Mess Burger might have you mistaking it for a new Uncrustables flavor. But one bite in, and you’ll realize this concept is more than just a gimmick. The utilitarian design locks in all the sauce and juiciness within the toasted shell of a traditional burger bun.

The extraterrestrial concept came to life after owner Ruben had a messy experience trying to enjoy a burger in his car. The hassle of reaching for napkins in his glove compartment while navigating the roads and trying to keep his meal from staining his clothes sparked an idea. Necessity breeds innovation, and this led Ruben to search for a unique kitchen appliance to bring his vision to life.

After securing a device that essentially functions like a waffle maker—minus the waffle grid and with a hollow dome in its place—Less Mess Burgers became a reality. Beyond the burgers, though, diners can also expect Grilled Chicken Sliders and loaded French fries.

If you’re searching for the truth of a mess-free UFO-shaped burger, you can pull up to Less Mess Burgers at 1222 N Central Ave, Glendale, CA 91203, right outside of the Ralphs grocery store.
