This NYC Spot Made A Grilled Cheese Tomato Soup Pizza For Fall

Krave It Pizza and Sandwich Joint is getting ready for the cozy season with its new Grilled Cheese Tomato Soup Pizza.
Baked on unbleached, unbromated pizza dough and stuffed with a combination of cheddar, American, pepper jack, and mozzarella cheeses, the pie is topped with a tomato soup sauce and mini grilled cheese sandwiches. It is served with a cup of tomato soup on the side for dipping.
The new menu item is the latest in a host of unique specialty pizzas that the Queens, NY based chain makes. So, how do they come up with these innovative ideas? They’re the brainchild of Krave It Co-Founder Vishee Mandahar, however it’s their customers who have the final say. “We do a customer taste test for the day and give out free samples, then ask them to decide,” said Mandahar.
“We are the home of specialty pizzas, but my personal favorite would be the White Truffle Chicken Pizza and the Mexican Birria Birria Birria pizza.” Mandahar added. “The Birria pizza is our biggest seller in NYC and Denver.”
Speaking of seasonal specialties, last year Krave It made headlines with its viral Thanksgiving Pizza, which will be making its return this year on November 1.
The Grilled Cheese Tomato Soup Pizza is available at all Krave It New York City locations for $45.
