This Cute Little R2D2 Will Protect Your Fridge By Making Obnoxious Noises

Put this in the department of things you don’t and won’t ever need, but absolutely want anyway.

Star Wars lovers and lovers of cute little androids in general can get a hold of this fridge-friendly R2D2. As R2D2 usually does, he will make obnoxiously loud noises and greet you every time you open the refrigerator door.

Your little personal fridge guardian is motion-censored, and in classic R2D2 fashion, moves around, beeps and lights up when it detects the movement of your door opening. They’re not random noises either, the 15 clips used are actually from the Star Wars movies. You’ll be hearing stuff like his messages to Obi-Wan Kenobi and arguments with C-3PO.

This little bot is being sold on Strapya for 4,000 Japanese yen, or about $33.

In the words of R2D2, “Beep, boop, bop, bleep, boop.” Which translated, I think means, “This is pretty awesome.”
