The ‘Shipwreck’ Is A Massive Seafood Sandwich Built On A Loaf Of Garlic Bread

The best part of hitting up a seafood emporium is the variety of options you have available. Everything from freshly fried calamari to creamy clam chowder and freshly grilled fish is on deck.

While it may be hard to pick just one item to enjoy, there’s always the option of combining them all together, and this sandwich does just that.

Called the Shipwreck, this all-in-one sub is easily enough to feed the entire squad. Found at the San Pedro Fish Market Grille, this bountiful fish sandwich carries all of the ocean’s most mouthwatering treasures.

That involves heaps of fried calamari, slabs of grilled salmon, and a healthy portion of clam chowder (yes, you get soup IN this sandwich) tucked into made-to-order garlic bread. It’s all brought together with deep-fried potatoes, fajita vegetables with cheese, and San Pedro’s Secret Sauce.

All three locations of the San Pedro Fish Market Grille, in Wilmington, Rolling Hills Estates, and Harbor City, California, are now carrying The Shipwreck through the end of January. If you can’t make the drive out to one of the Grilles to try this in person, San Pedro Fish Market does sell spices, hot sauces, and Minute Meals online that you can order to make this bad boy within the confines of your own kitchen.

The Shipwreck is the seafood enthusiast’s cheat meal and the sandwich fanatic’s dream all wrapped up in one, and is an absolute beast capable of capsizing almost any appetite. It’s worth the challenge of seeking out and conquering, whether it be solo or with a couple of hungry pals.
