This Scumbag Beat His Grandma To Death For Hiding His Beer

There’s something about Florida that brings out the worst in people, and this instance is as gut-wrenching as any.

An 18-year-old named Dylan Broughman didn’t appreciate that his grandma hid his beer while he was in the shower, and reportedly beat her, according to The Florida Times Union.

Joy Ann Courson, 69, was found in her hallway, surrounded by a puddle of blood, a cut in her right eye and punctured walls around her.

Courson was taken to the hospital, where she told police that Broughman threw her to the ground, then started to punch and kick her, over and over.

Courson added that when Broughman couldn’t find his beer, he started yelling, “It’s all your fault. Everyting is your fault.”

The grandmother died a week later, and the Medical Examiner’s office ruled the death a homicide.

Broughman was charged with murder Thursday, Nov. 3, in addition to an aggravated assault charge.
