Taco Bell is leveling up its chalupa game — again — with the national debut of the Toasted Cheddar Street Chalupas, a flavor-forward mashup that’s crunchy on the outside, saucy on the inside, and built to satisfy every craving in between.

Launching today, March 27, the new chalupas are a collision of two fan-favorite hits: the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa from 2019 and the Cheesy Street Chalupas from last year. The result? A crispy cheddar-dusted shell packed with street taco-inspired fillings like fresh onions, cilantro, and your choice of slow-roasted Cantina chicken or marinated steak. The real flex, though, is the debut of Taco Bell’s new Chile Lime Crema Sauce — a bold, zesty blend of lime, chile, garlic, and cheese that ties it all together.

And yes, you can grab two for $5.49. Taco Bell is also dropping a Toasted Cheddar Street Chalupa Discovery Luxe Box for the indecisive (or the extra hungry) with two chalupas, a Nacho Cheese Doritos® Locos Taco, a Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium drink for $9.00. Translation: it’s giving feast.

Originally tested in Houston last summer and teased at Taco Bell’s recent Live Más LIVE event in NYC, the chalupas are now hitting menus nationwide — but only for a limited time.

This isn’t just a chalupa with street taco fillings. It’s a crunchy, cheesy, flavor-layered comeback wrapped in cheddar and hype.
