We All Get Free Taco Bell If The Warriors Lose At Home In The Finals

national taco day

In its 2nd annual NBA Finals promo, Taco Bell will once again give out free Doritos Locos Tacos if one of the home teams lose.

They’re calling it “Steal a game, steal a taco,” which means the first team to steal a game on the road will earn everyone in the U.S. a taco.

That means if the Cavs steal a game in Golden State’s Oracle Arena, we all get free tacos. If Kevin Durant and the gang roll into Cleveland and win, we all get free tacos.

The availability of when we can redeem our free tacos is a little tricky, but it goes something like this:

If the road team wins Game 1, Game 2, Game 3, we can head over to TB on Wednesday, June 13 from 2 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to get our taco.

If the road team win Game 4, Game 5, Game 6, or Game 7, we can head over  to Taco Bell on Tuesday, June 20 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and get a free taco.

If somehow, the home team wins every single game, we’re screwed, but that hasn’t happened since 1955, when the Fort Wayne Pistons beat the Syracuse Nationals in the NBA Finals.

History is on our side, so just keep an eye on the NBA Finals scores, starting June 1 and wait for the home team to lose.
