Taco Bell Celebrates 20 Years Of Baja Blast With Baja Blast Gelato And Deals

If you didn’t already know, Mountain Dew Baja Blast was created exclusively for Taco Bell in 2004 and since has been a staple to the taco chain.

Now, to celebrate its 20 years of Baja Blast, Taco Bell is giving fans a year-long offer of some new menu items! Here’s what you’ll want to order in the coming weeks:

  • Free Bajaversary Treat: On July 29 only, fans can get a free medium Mountain Dew Baja Blast drink or a regular-sized Baja Blast Freeze.
  • $1 Happy Hour: Starting July 29 until the end of 2024, fans can score a medium-sized Mountain Dew Baja Blast drink or regular-sized Baja Blast Freeze for just $1 every day from 2-5 p.m. Plus, Taco Bell offers free in-store refills year-round!
  • Baja Blast Gelato: Beginning September 3, Taco Bell Rewards Members can purchase Baja Blast Gelato nationwide through the Taco Bell app. This gelato features the signature Mountain Dew Baja Blast Tropical Lime flavor, perfect to pair with your cheesy, spicy, and saucy Taco Bell menu items.

Of course, Taco Bell had to get in on the Stanley craze as well. Though a custom design with tacos and hot sauce would have been appreciated, just saying. On August 13 at 2 PM PT, Taco Bell Rewards Members can snag a limited-edition Stanley x BAJAVERSARY tumbler via the Taco Bell app. The first 20 to redeem will enjoy a free Mountain Dew Baja Blast drink for a whole year.

The excitement doesn’t end there! Fans can also look forward to the upcoming Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie later this year. Stay tuned for more baja surprises.
