The swicy train is still moving full-steam ahead. PepsiCo has linked with UK-based frozen dessert brand Doughlicious on a new sweet and spicy treat: Extra Flamin’ Hot Cookie Dough & Gelato Bites. This “uniquely delicious combination of fire and ice” infuses cookie dough with fiery bird’s eye chili, a pepper commonly found in Thai cuisine that delivers 10x the heat as jalapeños with 50,000 and 100,000 Scoville units.
The cookie dough is wrapped around ghost chili-spiced gelato, one of the world’s spiciest peppers, containing a jaw-numbing 1 million Scoville units. And for a final flame-tastic touch, the dessert balls are dusted with chipotle cookie crumbles — a popular smokey pepper that needs no introduction.
Doughlicious and PepsiCo’s Extra Flamin’ Hot Cookie Dough & Gelato Bites are now available in the UK online via Ocado, Zapp, and GoPuff. Unfortunately, they are currently only available in the UK and parts of Europe. Grab them now through March while supplies last.
