Study Reveals Trader Joe’s As The Best Grocery Store In The US
If you’ve ever been inside your local Trader Joe’s grocery store, you may find it somewhat peculiar or just straight up surprising, how easy it is to find what you’re looking for. If you can’t, then rest assured it’s even easier to find a team member that can assist you with it. Are these the reasons why they’re being heralded as the top grocers in the US according to a recent study, or is it because their cashiers are (allegedly) trained to flirt with you a bit at checkout?
In December 2023, Solitaired gathered Google reviews from the 100 most populated cities in America, and analyzed them based on specific criteria. They not only studied where Trader Joe’s landed, but the entire grocery store industry as well — ranking the best and worst individual stores, lines, prices, customer service, and food quality.
How surprised would you be if we said Trader Joe’s accounts for 90% of the top individually rated grocery locations? Or if Walmart stores made up of 38% of the worst rated grocery stores in the US?
Congratulations to the locals shopping at the Trader Joe’s location on Williams Field Rd. in Gilbert, Arizona, because they’ve been rated the best individual grocery store in all of America. It should also be noted that 45 of the top 50 highest rated individual stores are TJ’s.
In the analysis of major grocery chains, Trader Joe’s leads the pack, with Costco and Wegmans rounding out the top 3, while King Soopers, Save A Lot and Kroger are overall rated the worst.
