Starbucks Back Up After Cash Register Malfunction Causes NATIONWIDE SHUT DOWN

If you felt left in the dark last night after your local Starbucks was forced to shut down, you’re not the only one.

According to USA Today, a crazy computer malfunction occurred that left About 8,000 Starbucks across the US and Canada without the use of its cash registers Friday night.

Starbucks said the blackout was caused by a failure in its daily computer system refresh and around 4:30 pm PST, each of those stores had a decision to make.  Some stores closed shop early, while others gave out free drinks for a little while.

Bux wasn’t too specific about what happened, but at least they apologized for the inconvenience.

Starbucks has since fixed the mess and opened as normal Saturday morning, but for one insane night, Starbucks shut down and was in a panic.
