Starbucks Has The Most Loyal Customers Of Any Quick-Service Chain In The USA

When you think of a universal brand that knows loyalty better than Kendrick Lamar, it’s gotta be Starbucks. Between the rewards program, loads of new drinks to try, and plenty of deals, there’s a host of reasons for us to keep going back. It turns out that the data agrees with us, because Starbucks was just selected as the quick-service restaurant (QSR) with the most loyal customers in America.

The coffee giant ranked first on Foursquare’s QSR Loyalty Index List, which uses measures of frequency and wallet share to determine their rankings. Following Starbucks on the list was McDonald’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, Tim Hortons, and Chick-fil-A. Whataburger, Sonic, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Taco Bell, and Panera Bread rounded out the top 10.

Apparently, Starbucks’ strong association with breakfast allows it to perch atop  at this ranking. Foursquare found that chains associated with the morning meal had the most loyalty. In fact, every chain that made the top ten offers a morning selection, which correlates strongly with that claim.

Starbucks has definitely been a cornerstone of fast food breakfast for a long time, so it makes sense that it’s atop the list. Still, there’s no doubting that what the coffee company has done to keep its customers coming back has been incredible.
