You Now Have Less Time To Claim Your Free Starbucks Birthday Drink, Here’s How Much

With coffee prices the way they are, Starbucks’ free birthday drink can be a life saver when you’re trying to ration your paycheck. Sadly, you’re going to have a little less time to reclaim that birthday drink.

According to Starbucks Melody, September marked the end of the coffee chain’s week-long birthday window. Now, patrons will only have four days to get their free beverage before the offer expires.

Breaking it down: you’ll have two days before your birthday, your actual birthday and the day after your birthday to claim your drink.

Starbucks says that the change comes from the fact that they want to make the drinks about customers’ birthday rather than birth weeks.

To get your birthday drink you either need to be registered in Starbucks’ mobile app or have a registered gift card with your birthday on it. All you then have to do is take it during the applicable days to get your drink.
