Pop-Tarts Opened A Cafe With Sweet Tacos And Burritos In New York

For people who are in a rush, Pop-Tarts have become a morning staple that you can grab and devour on the go, but if you want to sit down and enjoy your pastry, there’s now a Pop-Tarts Cafe in New York that features Pop-Tart fries, pizza, and even burritos.

The pop-up is located inside the Kellogg’s Cafe in Times Square, as the entire restaurant received a makeover in order to give Pop-Tarts its proper love.

Pop-Tarts have been known to get a little crazy with their flavors, but putting together things like sweet tacos is pretty insane.

The cafe will keep its Pop-Tart theme until February 26, from 8 a.m., to 11 p.m., then it will go back to its normal Kellogg self.

Take a look at some of the menu offerings below:

__________

Pop-Tart Tacos (2 for $9.99)

The tacos consist of Cookies & Creme Pop-Tarts “ground beef,” coconut “lettuce,” jelly bean “tomatoes,” strawberry sriracha “salsa,” frosting as “sour cream,” on a crepe-like cinnamon-sugar dusted tortilla.

__________

Pop-Tart Nachos ($9)

The nachos are broken up Confetti Cupcake Pop-Tarts with strawberry “salsa,” frosting as “cheese,” fresh mint, sprinkles and a birthday candle.

__________

Pop-Tarts Pizza ($8)

The personal pizza consists of Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tarts crust, strawberry “marinara sauce,” frosting “cheese,” fruit leather “pepperoni,” and fresh mint.

There’s plenty of variety when it comes to the shakes, as they have a Mmmmocha, Espresso Yourself, Berry Wild, Dem Cookies Dough, Tart Fudge Sundae, and Strawberry Shortshake.

__________

Pop-Tart Burrito

These epic sweet burritos come in a s’mores flavor, nutty caramel banana, and chocolate-covered strawberry. They’re basically Pop-Tart filled crepes.
