Panda Express Launches ‘Pandaoke’ Pop-Up Karaoke Events Across The U.S.

Panda Express has officially announced a new karaoke experience, “Pandaoke,” rolling out in select cities and just in time to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Did you know you don’t need to be Filipino to sing your heart out karaoke style?! As a vibrant extension of their campaign, “Have You Eaten Yet?”, this limited-time pop-up invites guests to immerse themselves in a fun environment and smash some Panda Express faves while singing their song

Side note — for those who didn’t ask, my go-to song is Madonna’s “Like A Prayer.” This was decided after being politely banned from singing Evanescence’s “Bring Me to Life.” Apparently, you’re supposed to pick something uplifting that everyone can sing along to.

The karaoke booth will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time during the event dates. Pandaoke will kick off in Los Angeles, aka Panda’s hometown, before making stops in several other cities nationwide.

  • May 9-11: Los Angeles, CA; 2828 S Figueroa St.
  • May 23-25: Nashville, TN; 6601 Charlotte Pike
  • May 30-June 1: Chicago, IL; 2949 W Addison St
  • June 6-8: Austin, TX; 5764 Airport Blvd

Each Panda Express location will be transformed into a karaoke destination, anchored by a spectacular 7-foot-tall Karaoke Takeout Box. In this interactive setup, groups of two to three can step inside, choose from a curated list of feel-good hits, and belt out a lively 30-second performance. This may be exciting or humiliating pending how it goes, but either way each session will be recorded and instantly emailed to participants, giving them a fun keepsake to remember.

Guests purchasing a Panda Family Meal during the event dates will receive an exclusive Pandaoke Kit while supplies last, encouraging guests to bring the magic of Pandaoke home sweet home. For additional information about Pandaoke, guests can visit pandaex.press/pandaoke.
