Initially the restaurants name was withheld because of pending investigations, but WCMH-Columbus reported the restaurant as Lincoln Café  in downtown Columbus. The restaurant is still under investigation to determine whether the glass was intentionally placed in the officer's sandwich, although the Columbus police tweeted that at this point they do not believe it was an intentional attack.

Columbus Public Health plan on visiting the restaurant to help figure out how the officer was served the sandwich and whether it was accidental or not.
